Factory Media’s newly established distribution division will be heading to its first MIPTV with 100 hours of brand new content.
Since its launch in September, Factory Media’s distribution arm has succeeded in signing representation deals with several respected US and UK producers, including the UK’s Woodcut Media and Yeti Media, and the Emmy Award-winning LA-based independent Hoplite Entertainment.
Its MIPTV slate includes Woodcut Media’s Animal Antics (13 x 30 mins), commissioned by MTG World for Viasat Nature, and produced by Rude Tube producer Nick Mavroidakis. The series, which goes into production this month, consists of a showcase of hilarious animal escapades, from skate racoons to pole-dancing pooches.
From Rondo subsidiary Yeti Media, comes Channel 4’s online shorts series My First Tattoo: Shorts (10 x 3’) and a new and intimate full length doc that meets people about to have their first tattoo – My First Tattoo (1 x 60’).
Under its deal with Hoplite, Factory Media will be also be showcasing Recipe Hunters (16 x 60’), Foxy Ladies (12 x 30’), Drone Wars (13 x 60 mins), Jelly Ballers (12 x 60 mins) and Cash Floor (26 x 30 mins) at MIPTV.
