Whitelines snowboarding hits record 1 million monthly pages views
Whitelines.com, the website of the UK’s longest running and most widely read snowboard magazine, is now reaching 160,000 monthly unique users who have viewed over 1 million pages of content on the site and has over 75,000 engaged Facebook users. November 2013 was the website’s most successful month to date, with a 300 per cent increase in page views compared with the same period last year.
This achievement comes after Deputy Editor Tristan Kennedy was given the online reigns and Factory Media invested in making Whitelines.com easier to use on mobile devices, as well as creating more unique, shareable snowboard content specifically for the website.
Ed Blomfield, editor of Whitelines, said: “The UK has long punched above its weight in the snowboard industry, and the latest stats are testament to that fine tradition. A million monthly page views puts Whitelines firmly amongst the biggest and most influential snow sites in the world and it's all driven by the passionate local shred community and their sense of humour. Remember: it's only snowboarding!"
By creating a compelling mix of content for all types of British riders, Whitelines have firmly reasserted their position of authority at the centre of the UK snowboard scene.
Craig Scrivener, Whitelines Sales and Events Manager, said: “That Whitelines is doing such a great job engaging so many customers at this key time of year is massive bonus for all of our advertisers"
