Factory Media hosts its annual ski trip for media agencies
Factory Media travelled to The French Alps to show their agency friends a slice of their world
In March 2016 (for the sixth consecutive year), Factory Media flew into the picturesque alpine resort of Morzine/Avoriaz. Situated at an altitude 1800m, with some of the most breathtaking views of the French Alps, it was the perfect location for a weekend away with our friends from some of the biggest and most creative media agencies.
The group consisted of snow lovers of all levels; from those who managed to conquer the mountains for the first time to experienced shredders tearing it up!
…Or at least they thought they were experienced, that was until Factory’s Morzine resident Sam McMahon – Deputy Editor of Whitelines & Onboard,
The conditions were divine, with plenty of snow and sunshine to enjoy the slopes and a well deserved afternoon tipple. Also on hand for her experience both on and off the slopes was Nina Zietman – Deputy Editor of Mpora, who took the skiers and snowboarders through their paces, tackling her favourite runs, before packing them off to enjoy the usual evening apres activities. Hot tubbing, enjoying a mouth watering three course dinner prepared by the loveliest chalet hosts Jen & Jon and of course old school drinking games were all high on the agenda.
The only sacrifice of the trip was sleep, since early runs were prioritized, but luckily there’s plenty of time for that back in London.
Everybody progressed their skiing & snowboarding talents and also made a lost of new friends, typifying what Factory Media is all about: Having fun, meeting people and challenging yourself. Action sports and more specifically snow sports are incredibly fun and are for everyone to enjoy no matter your ability or talent!
