Welcome to Sidewalk Redux – Volume One. A hand picked physical manifestation of the last year’s digital issues of Sidewalk, complete with a DVD featuring footage of our mates representing scenes from across the entirety of the British Isles.
From the outset, it was always our intention to have a complementary print project to sit alongside our monthly digital releases but, as is often the case outside the bleeping universe of the internet, it took a little bit longer than we expected.
Our mission statement has and will always remain the same – Sidewalk is here to showcase skateboarding as it happens, everywhere: regardless of style, gender, age, location or any other arbitrary division you care to throw in there.
Delivering monthly issues online allows us to get this content to you quicker than ever before and now, by producing a book in tandem with our online existence, we have the opportunity to give you the best of what we do, free and condensed in a physical format so that you can fill your bookshelves, bedrooms and bog floors with something you can hold in your hand, that doesn’t need recharging every four hours.
The full versions of all the features within this book can be seen at sidewalkmag.com so if you need more, then you know what to do.
Sidewalk Redux will be available at all reputable skate stores around the UK – enjoy and thanks for the support. Skateboarding is the best.
