Seiko Prospex – Built For The Challenge

For the second time in as many years, we have teamed up with Seiko to showcase their premium Prospex Diver’s watch collection.

BRIEF

For the second time in as many years, we have teamed up with Seiko to showcase their premium Prospex Diver’s watch collection. This time we produced a three-part series examining one of the world’s most stunning dive sites – the Silfra Lagoon in Iceland. Here there is crystal clear visibility for over 100 meters as divers swim in the middle of the shifting tectonic plates. We worked with three British instructors who left their hectic lifestyles in the UK for a more balance life provided by Iceland and Silfra.

THE IDEA

Through a series of three instalments, we examine just why Silfra Lagoon is the ideal location for diving. We delve into how operating in such an extreme environment tests their knowledge and skill sets. Due to the extreme cold of the water and the added complications of extra buoyancy weights and drysuits, precision means the difference between life and death. These extreme conditions created from the environment showcase why accurate timekeeping is essential for navigating its depths safely.

Taking a wider look at the land around Silfra, it is easy to see why there is a vast array of opportunities for adventure in Iceland. Many adventures are just past the doorstep providing that perfect balance in life of hard work and playing hard. With a population the size of the borough of Croydon and land mass larger than Ireland, the country has and endless possibility of adventures.

THE OUTCOME

Delivering three long form articles to elaborate on the brand videos, we saw strong results with a positive reaction.  Lead through our flagship title of Mpora, we achieved over 1 Million video views positioning Seiko Prospex as a premier diving brand.
