The Outdoor 100 is a guide to the season’s finest outdoor adventure gear and clothing which runs across both OutdoorsMagic and Mpora. Every item on the list is painstakingly chosen by an team of equipment experts, it’s then professionally photographed – and in some cases filmed – in a stunningly wild location, and subsequently described in an-depth written review.

Land Rover, the headline sponsor for this year’s Autumn/Winter Outdoor 100, is a brand that is often associated with landscapes that are rugged, wild, and brutal but beautiful, and the choices of shoot locations for this year’s Outdoor 100 were influenced by this.

Factory Media’s outdoor team headed to the wilderness of the Brecon Beacons to photograph the items under review. They also used Iceland to provide inspiring backdrops for the eight bespoke brand videos. These showed a featured product being used on a particular adventure, with examples in last year’s series being wild camping, scrambling through a long and narrow gorge and climbing onto a glacier on the side of a volcano. The videos also profiled key technical features and provided further insight into the product.

The eight videos and 100 articles included within the Outdoor 100 all featured the Land Rover logo. It also was placed at the top of our Outdoor 100 hub which displayed all 100 reviews on one interactive page.

On social media, The Land Rover Facebook page was linked to in over 200 social posts by OutdoorsMagic and Mpora. Through to combination of written word and video, the Outdoors 100 content reached an audience of over over 4 Million.
