LONDON, UK – Factory Media, Ltd., Europe’s largest and most innovative action sports media owner, and ESPN have teamed up together for the 2013 X Games. Using the mpora.com platform, Factory Media and associated magazines will feature world-class X Games action, as well as exclusive athlete interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Having kicked off the relationship at X Games Tignes in March, Factory Media is set to charge full steam ahead with complete coverage of X Games Barcelona and X Games Munich. “Factory Media and X Games are a great match! Two cutting-edge companies that are passionate about sports, and have reputations for creating engaging, quality content surrounding those sports,” said Sarah Rimassa, Events and Projects Manager at Factory Media. By creating online content that is complementary to the existing X Games programming, Factory Media will allow fans from around the world to get extra insight into athlete perspectives and the X Games experience as a whole.
Though much of the collaboration is based on online video, coverage will be supported through social media and the use of daily X Games diaries and print editorial in many of Factory Media’s magazines, such as RideUK BMX, SkateboardMSM, Moto-X and Dirt Mountainbike Magazine.
