Mpora Dropbox Integration
Wednesday, November 28th, 2012
After Dropbox announced the release of their brand new ‘Dropbox Chooser’ we immediately saw this as an opportunity to follow on from our recent improvements to the Mpora video player and continue to enhance the Mpora user experience. After a little work from our talented tech team, this time saving feature is now fully integrated and ready to roll.
In a nutshell the Dropbox Chooser does exactly what it says on the tin and allows our Mpora users to easily select video files straight from their Dropbox folder. Not only does this mean that they will always have the most up to date version on hand, it will also take away any inconvenience of having to download content onto a local hard disk before uploading a video file, saving our users precious time and all in all just making life that little bit simpler.
While the diagram above pretty much says it all, in simple terms here’s how it works. If you are a dropbox user, next time you go to upload a new video on Mpora instead of selecting ‘Choose’ go to ‘Choose from Dropbox’, which will then take you through to your Dropbox folder where you can select the file of your choice. And that’s really all there is to it!
